The SDG ambassador, Jovenia JC, has started an initiative to conduct a beach cleaning at Teringai Beach, Kota Marudu on August 14, 2022, per the SDG of the month, SDG14 Life Below Water. Voluntary recruitment was open to increasing public participation.

1. To raise awareness in the population about marine pollution. 2. To contribute to the reduction of garbage and plastic in the ocean. 3. To promote SDG 14 Life Below Water to the general public.
